Wallowa Resources Watershed Festival Wallowa Resources
The Watershed Festival began seven years ago to celebrate our natural and cultural history and community stewardship work within Enterprise and Wallowa County. Every year the event occurs on the last Friday in June at the Enterprise City Fairgrounds. This family focused event provides opportunities to learn directly about our streams, rangelands, and forest and community programs and the organizations that help people take care of their lands, water sources, and each other.
Come experience Wallowa County, travel from booth to booth at the Festival, where you can ask questions about what the organization does and get to participate in a hands-on activity. Experience first-hand the work each organization does. For example, at the Nez Perce Tribe Fisheries Booth, kids have the opportunity to catch a fish from their ponds, to pick up traditional fishing equipment, and talk with them about what they do. After visiting the booths, enjoy Wallowa County’s own grass-fed beef burgers and grilled salmon, while listening to local musicians organized by the Wallowa Music Alliance.
This event occurs on the last Friday of June in Enterprise, Oregon every year. Over 30 partner organizations participate. Come celebrate with us Wallowa County and the work we do.
