Connecting Youth With Nature at the Willamette Valley Refuges Educator's Workshop William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge
The Willamette Valley Refuge Complex invites educators to our free Connecting Youth with Nature at the Willamette Valley Refuges k-8 Educators Workshop! The workshop will train educators on the new inquiry and place- based k- 8 curriculum that meets Oregon state education standards and benchmarks.
Where: The workshop will take place at William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge, 26208 Finley Refuge Road, Corvallis OR, 97333.
When:April 23rd from 9-3.
Registration: To register please contact Erin Burke at Erin_Burke@fws.gov with your name, address, school and grades you teach.
Educators will receive: 6 PDU's, the new curriculum, lunch, and a 10% discount at the Wildgoose Nature store on April 23rd. Please see the attached flyer for details and please share the flyer with others at your school!
